What you’re entrusted with deserves care.
Your professional secrecy, well kept: your records in the EU, in your own workspace and always yours to take.
Stored in the EU.
Your records are in European data centres, the backups too.
Only you see your records.
Not even a colleague in the same practice can get to them. You share intake requests and groups only with the people you invite.
Every opened record logged.
Ombra keeps track of when a record is opened or changed. No names or note text in the access log.
Export your records, in one go.
Your records, notes and documents in one ZIP. You’re never locked in to Ombra.
You sign in on a new laptop.
You type your email address and password.
The laptop is new, so Ombra emails you a one-time code. If you’ve connected an authenticator app, Ombra asks for that code too.
Only then do your records open.
Good to know.
All questions- Where is client data stored?
- In the EU, in Ireland. The backups stay in the EU too. If you connect Gmail or Outlook, your emails go through that service.
- Can a colleague see my records?
- No. Your client records are yours alone, even if you work with others in a practice. You share intake requests and groups only with the people you invite: someone who co-leads a group sees what is in that group.
- Can I export my records if I stop using Ombra?
- Yes. You download everything in one ZIP: your data and each document as a separate file. If you close your account, you can still reopen it for 30 days.
